Moviegoers undoubtedly noticed a shiny new star in the movie F1. The 2026 Mercedes-AMG® GT 63 APXGP Edition made its debut. Mercedes-Benz of Wilkes-Barre is giving you a closer look at the supercar.
F1 Debut
The new F1 film is centered around the excitement of Formula 1® racing. It follows Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, who are racing for APXGP, a fictional Formula 1® team. The movie also includes real Formula 1® drivers and perfectly captures the exhilaration of life on the track.
Many of the vehicles featured in F1 were supplied performance vehicles from the existing Mercedes-AMG® portfolio.
Premium Power
The new production model takes that excitement to the streets. It’s powered by a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, which delivers up to 577 horsepower. It also features AMG Performance 4MATIC+ AWD, AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, and a front axle lift system.
Eye-Catching Look
The limited-edition coupe was designed to closely mirror the movie’s vehicles. Each model’s paintwork was meticulously done by hand and features APXGP-specific designs. It features striking Race Gold accents, from the radiator grille to the rear diffuser blade. It also includes a checkered flag pattern on the front fenders to remind everyone of its racing inspiration.
Stunning Cabin
The distinct interior includes Race Gold stitching on the Black Nappa leather/microfiber AMG Performance seats and steering wheel. It also includes a “Limited Edition 1 of 52” badge in the center console, reminding everyone of its exclusivity. With its 2+2 seating configuration and ample cargo space, it’s still ideal for everyday driving too.
